According to reports, China has now become the world's second largest economy, but its total consumption only accounts for 5.4% of the world. The structural contradictions formed in the long-term development of the textile industry are fully manifested in the international financial crisis. The lack of independent innovation capability is still a bottleneck. The imperfection of industrial value chains is a weak link in the development of the textile industry. During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, China will seize the promise of raising the level of the value chain and shift from the expansion of the past to the improvement of quality, making China a world-consuming power.
