5 Million U.S. Dollar Exports in Vietnam in the First Five Months

According to a report on the Vietnam Investment News website on May 26, Vietnam’s textile exports have grown rapidly this year, with export volume reaching US$5.1 billion in the first five months, a year-on-year increase of 36%. According to a number of world economic experts, it is believed that by 2014, EU countries will no longer produce textiles, and related orders will shift to Asian countries, which will be more favorable to the Vietnamese textile industry.
