In answer to what impact the 13th Five-Year Plan will have on the future development of the textile industry, Zhang Jie believes that from a global perspective, China is already a mature market. After the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, textiles have reached the largest scale in the world. After entering the thirteenth five-year plan, the textile and clothing industries are facing excess capacity as in the past, because competition will have to re-evolve the problem of transformation.
