On July 11, the finals of the 2020 “Charming Oriental China International Underwear Creative Design Competition” kicked off at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

As the current top and most authoritative competition platform in China's underwear field, this year's Charm Oriental lasted 9 months, attracting 300 colleges, 50 independent design studios, and designers from more than 10 well-known enterprises in the industry. A total of more than 4,000 entries were submitted. After fierce competition in the preliminary and rematch, 15 works were shortlisted for the finals. From theory to practice, it is difficult to change the design into a finished product, especially the finished product of this competition is made by the players themselves.

This year's finals used the previous pre-review and on-site reviews. On the morning of the 10th, the jury pre-reviewed the finished products, renderings and the main design of the ready-to-wear garments, and experienced the fabric selection and details of the players up close; the electronic scoring mode was followed on the 11th finals, and the audience can use the side screen of the stage Know the scoring situation of each judge. At the same time, after the performance of each five groups of works, the judge teacher will make professional comments on the players, provide valuable suggestions for the players, and help the players grow better. Over the years, the competition has strictly adhered to the "fair, just and open" judging principles. Apart from on-site reviews and awards, the judges' teachers have zero contact with the contestants throughout the process.

15 sets of design masterpieces have been launched in turn. The design works not only attracted the attention of the audience in terms of color matching, styling design, and tailoring style, but also changed the music, sound, and lighting effects with different themes of the works. The atmosphere pushed to the top, showing a brilliant spark of collision between technology and fashion. The judges were intently scoring each group according to the judging rules on the spot after the display of each group of works. The expected results of the scoring were finally announced. Among them, designers Ren Xinwei/Cai Erqiao won the championship with the work "Jinghua" and received a prize of 80,000 yuan; designer Qi Yanlan's work "FLOWING SPACE" won the runner-up and received a prize of 5 Ten thousand yuan; designer Zhou Wen's work "Broken Cocoon" won the third place, and won a prize of 10,000 yuan.
