The high-density substation layout is related to the unprecedented concentration and upgrading of the printing and dyeing industry. Last year, Shaoxing established the development goal of “green high-end, world-leading” printing and dyeing industry. Keqiao District, which has 200 printing and dyeing enterprises, cut off one-third of backward production capacity. Up to now, 96 printing and dyeing enterprises have gathered in the coastal industrial zone to enhance their development.

As the first project of the third phase of the coastal printing and dyeing cluster, Zhejiang Alice Dyeing and Finishing Co., Ltd. is accelerating the construction of the plant these days. The company plans to start production in September and is expected to have a daily capacity of 800,000 meters. “Like Alice, high-end printing and dyeing, high-quality functional fabrics and other industries are the mainstays of the third phase of the project.” The relevant person of the Binhai Industrial Zone Management Committee introduced.

At the same time, many printing and dyeing enterprises in the first and second phases of the coastal agglomeration area are also advancing toward the green high-end through the introduction of equipment and improved technology. For example, Zhejiang Dongsheng Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. invested more than 100 million yuan in technical transformation, and is currently focusing on developing the middle and high-end market. The company's monthly sales revenue continues to maintain double-digit growth.

Through the electric energy substitution strategy, the optimization of energy structure is also the meaning of the “green revolution” of printing and dyeing. At the end of last year, the Keqiao District Government and the State Grid Shaoxing Power Supply Company signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the Pilot Work of Electric Heat Setting Machines. In the enterprise, the traditional energy source such as steam, natural gas or heat transfer oil was replaced by electric energy as the main energy source of the setting machine. After that, it will greatly reduce the energy cost of the printing and dyeing industry in Keqiao District.

Statistics show that thanks to the accumulation of printing and dyeing industry, the energy consumption per unit of industrial added value of Shaoxing last year also decreased by 6.5% year-on-year, which is 2.8 percentage points higher than the province.
